Concord Wood Resources Group Inc.
We are establishing a forest products brokerage service in North America for logs, cants, lumber, and biomass from the USA and BC to the Asia-Pacific Market.
There are several private BC timberlands that BioStewards is evaluating and developing an acquisition strategy for while building a timberland portfolio that employs innovative forest management and supports bioenergy development.
Our technical team is working with a globally deployed forestry software company that owns several software packages used within the forestry sector. Our current collaborative goals are to develop better estimating tools for biomass inventories and feedstock costs for the bioenergy sector, which may also be beneficial to the Carbon markets, and other natural resource decision support options.
BioStewards is working with Higbury Energy in the commercial development of a proprietary biomass gasification system that uses waste biomass to produce heat and electricity.
The technology uses a steam environment for the reformation of the organic matter that results in a greater quantity of hydrogen production than would naturally occur due to the release of hydrogen from the water molecules. This cleaned synthesis gas can be fed directly into an internal combustion engine to make electricity or can be converted to high value liquid alcohols and chemicals.
We are also working with strategic partners to produce renewable liquid fuels and green sustainable chemicals.
Biostewards is working with an Alberta company for deploying a proprietary hydrokinetic system that captures power from canals and in-stream including tidal opportunities.
We are part of a JV team that is developing a leading edge CCS technology. In light of the recent agreements between USA and China and with the recent announcement of China seriously addressing carbon emissions, we are excited to this commercialization effort that will significantly reduce carbon and sulfur emissions globally.
BioStewards is working with Tabletree from the Kootenay region in British Columbia. Tabletree is a fresh fruit juice company that has developed a proprietary juice process that maintains most of the health benefits within the product and has won numerous global awards.
We are providing services to ecoGROW Aquaponics; an innovative company that is developing the first ecoGROW aquaponics farm in BC. The sustainable indoor farm includes a closed-loop ecosystem of greenhouse vegetables and closed-containment fish, supported by a renewable biomass energy system. With its nutritious 100% organic products, ecoGROW Farms is targeting the organic produce and seafood markets. BioStewards will be assisting ecoGROW Farms with its marketing efforts; specifically, we will assist in the development of China target markets for seafood products and will serve as a seafood broker into China.
